On Saturday, April 19, five former Lake Central High School standouts, including Conor Pangburn, Doug Loden, Ethan Knopf, Nick Robinson and Owen Bendis’ current college team, the Purdue Northwest Pride, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Roosevelt Lakers.

The game took place at Ozinga Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at Dowling Park against Indianapolis Greyhounds.
