Munster ranked 47th in Indiana for resident earnings in 2018

Munster ranked 47th among cities in Indiana by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Munster residents was $38,885 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 8,697 households with a population of 22,840.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Spring Hill with $82,500 per year after adjusting for inflation – $43,615 more than Munster. It had 48 households with a population of 75.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Notre Dame with $3,504 per year after adjusting for inflation – $35,381 less than Munster. It had 138 households with a population of 6,584.
