Duck Creek Tributary Restoration Project Virtual Public Meeting on August 24

Duck Creek Tributary Restoration Project Virtual Public Meeting

Date: Wednesday, August 24, 2022

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

To address water quality and flooding issues, the City of Hobart is stabilizing and restoring the streambank along a Duck Creek tributary, located near the intersection of County Line Road and East 61st Avenue. The new riparian buffer will increase stormwater infiltration, reduce erosion and runoff, and improve vital habitat along the Tributary corridor. The project will be completed in two phases, with phase one slated to begin in Fall 2022. Phase 2 will be completed in 2024.

To learn more about this project, please attend a virtual public meeting hosted by the City of Hobart on August 24. To register and receive the link to the virtual meeting, visit https://bit.ly/3IsCzKE.
