76.4% of Lake County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 495,925 citizens living in Lake County in 2021, 76.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 378,947 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 181,720 were male, constituting 48%, and 197,227 were female, making up 52%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lake County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
