In another tweet posted on January 20, 2025, he emphasized fiscal responsibilities: "We must also not delay in commencing the necessary oversight & direction required to draft FY 2026 appropriations legislation that will fund federal programs and agencies that keep our communities and our nation safe, and create more opportunities for work & wealth for everyone."

Further elaborating on his role within Congress, Rep. Mrvan stated on January 20, 2025: "Further, as a member of the House Appropriations Committee, I look forward to getting to work and quickly completing the long-overdue legislation to fund the government for Fiscal Year 2025."
