On Tuesday, March 18, former Hanover Central High School standout Bret Matthys’ current college team, the Purdue Northwest Pride, won 16-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Thomas More Saints.

The game took place at Dowling Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Saints this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Dowling Park against Davenport Panthers.
