On Friday, April 18, former Wheeler High School standout Alex Sweitzer’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, April 18, former Wheeler High School standout Alex Sweitzer’s current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Hypes Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 12 p.m. at Panther Park against Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.
