On Friday, Feb. 7, former Wheeler High School standout Alex Sweitzer’s current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Harding Bisons.

The game took place at Jerry Moore Field. This was their first matchup against the Bisons this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at Jerry Moore Field against Harding Bisons.
