On Friday, Feb. 7, former Lake Central High School standout Isabelle Poortenga’s current college team, the Lewis Flyers, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Hawaii Pacific Sharks.

The game took place at Sand Island Park. This was their first matchup against the Sharks this season.

The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at Sand Island Park against Ferris State Bulldogs.
