On Sunday, April 27, former Lake Central High School standout Carter Doorn’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, won 20-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Boilermakers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Alexander Field against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
