Crown Point Fire Rescue is currently conducting an emergency hire process to find qualified firefighter/paramedics to join the Crown Point Fire Rescue family. Applications close Friday, Sept. 23, and can be found on the City of Crown Point website at www.crownpoint.in.gov.

Eligibility
- Must be a licensed paramedic
- Must be a certified firefighter
- Must be eligible for 1977 PERF pension
- 90-day probation pay $59,000
- 2022 pay for a firefighter/paramedic $64,000
- 2023 pay for a firefighter/paramedic $70,000
- 2022 pension base $79,000
- 2023 pension base $81,000
- 24/48 work schedule
- 10 paid holidays
- Double time and a half holiday pay
- $800 annual uniform allowance
- Medical insurance/city-paid life insurance
- 457 Retirement Fund match
