Rep. Frank J. Mrvan, who represents Indiana’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing foreign policy, education opportunities, and bipartisan governance.
On October 14, 2025, Mrvan posted: "Let us build on this positive action and continue the momentum toward peace and security for everyone in the Middle East region."
The following day, October 15, 2025, he wrote: "I am honored to be able to nominate students from Indiana’s First Congressional District for appointment to the U.S. Military Service Academies. I encourage all interested students to apply for this invaluable opportunity to obtain a college education while serving our nation."
On October 16, 2025, Mrvan stated: "I’m ready, willing, and able to find a bipartisan solution to open government, make sure people get paid, and make sure people have access to healthcare."
Mrvan has served in Congress since 2021, succeeding Pete Visclosky, and previously held office as North Township Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2021. He was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1969 and currently resides in Highland. Mrvan graduated from Ball State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
