Crimson Wave Men’s Soccer takes 3-0 win over IU-Northwest
The Calumet Collge Men's Soccer team took on their Lake County rival Indiana University Northwest late on Wednesday evening. The Crimson Wave started the match off hot, with 5 shots in the 1st half but none made it past the IUN or CCSJ goalkeepers to remain 0-0. The first Crimson Wave goal was scored on a Penalty Kick in the 2nd half by Sergio Reyes. 13 minutes later, Reyes scored the Wave's second goal of the match for a 2-0 lead. In the final minute of the match, Reyes scored the 3rd and final goal for the Crimson Wave and solidified a 3-0 CCAC win for the Wave.
The Crimson Wave in total had 12 shots, 8 shots on goal, in the 90 minutes. CCSJ Goalkeeper, Sam Sullivan, saw 3 shots on goal and had 3 saves to go with it.
