Opening Act (4:15-5:45 p.m.): Dyllyngyr (Classic Rock)

Second Act (6:15-7:45 p.m.): Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse (Blues-Rock)

Headliner (8:30-10 p.m.): Marrakesh Express (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young tribute)

The Crown Point Oktoberfest happens a little earlier in the month than past years to hopefully avoid unsavory weather. Performing for the first year at Bulldog Park in their hometown of Crown Point will be Marrakesh Express, which as the name suggests, is a tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The large ensemble group performs all the popular CS&N and CSN&Y hits — "Our House," Suite Judy Blue Eyes," "Southern Cross," "Teach Your Children," Marrakesh Express" — and others. Also in the mix are some of the fan favorites from the group members' individual solo careers. Opening the show will be Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse, a stellar blues-rock group that mixes a few original songs from Caruso's debut album with covers of great blues-rock artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robin Trower, Johnny Winter and Steve Winwood. Opening the final concert of the 2022 Bulldog Park Summer Concert Series will by Dyllyngr (pronounced as "Dillinger") whose name connects them to Crown Point. Formed in 1978, the classic rock quintet's typical set list often includes songs by the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Angel City and Cheap Trick.
