Servin PR’s and team finishes 9th at CCAC Championships
With a short cross-country season before indoor track & field, the Crimson Wave banded together a team, led by Junior Adam Servin, for the CCAC Championships. Overall, the Crimson Wave finished the CCAC Championships in 9th place ahead of IU-Northwest, despite the brutal weather conditions.
Servin, who ran a Men's 8k PR in the previous race at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge of 28:35.30, finished the CCAC Championships 8k with a new PR time of 28:12.2. Finishing in 44th place, Servin led the Crimson Wave ahead of Moises Castillo with a time of 36:50.2, Solomon Wise 40:45.1, Donyae Winfield 44:15, Kadre White 47:52.2, and Victor Baines 47:53.4.
Overall, the Crimson Wave finished the CCAC Championships in 9th place ahead of IU-Northwest.
