On Saturday, March 22, former 21st Century Charter School at Gary Inc. standout Johnell Davis’ current collegiate team the Arkansas Razorbacks won 75-66 against the St. John's Red Storm in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the St. John's Red Storm during the championship.

Johnell Davis’ hometown is Gary and game position is guard.
