On Friday, March 21 former West Side Leadership Academy Jalen Washington competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Friday, March 21, former West Side Leadership Academy standout Jalen Washington’s current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels lost 71-64 against the Ole Miss Rebels in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Fiserv Forum, this was the first game against the Ole Miss Rebels during the championship.

Jalen Washington’s hometown is Gary and game position is forward.
