On Saturday, April 12, five former Lake Central High School standouts, including Conor Pangburn, Doug Loden, Ethan Knopf, Nick Robinson and Owen Bendis’ current college team, the Purdue Northwest Pride, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Francis Fighting Saints.

The game took place at Slammers Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Fighting Saints this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. at Dowling Park against Lewis Flyers.
