Frank J. Mrvan shares legislative updates and commitment to bipartisanship

U.S. Representative Frank J. Mrvan, who represents Indiana’s 1st district in Congress, recently used his social media platform to share updates on legislative activities and ongoing engagement with constituents.

On August 28, 2025, Mrvan posted: "Thank you to WJOB for welcoming me to the JED in the Region morning show to provide a legislative update following our Community Conversations in Portage and Highland yesterday. Watch the full interview here:

https://t.co/Q83x3K6jFH". The post highlights his appearance on a local radio program after participating in community discussions.

Later that day, he reiterated his commitment to bipartisan efforts with another message: "I will continue to reach across the aisle to find solutions that create work and wealth in our region. https://t.co/KnH4tOP5E1".

On August 29, 2025, Mrvan emphasized his dedication to constituent outreach by stating: "You can run but you cannot hide from the American voters. I will continue to speak with constituents about the issues impacting our communities so I can fight for our region in Congress.

Frank J. Mrvan has served as U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 1st District since replacing Pete Visclosky in 2021. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the North Township Board of Trustees from 2005 through 2021. Born in Hammond, Indiana in 1969, Mrvan currently resides in Highland and is an alumnus of Ball State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
