Barton signs with Crimson Wave Softball
Calumet College Softball signs middle infielder and outfielder, Geralyn Barton, from Yorkville, IL.
Barton, a junior college transfer from Kankakee Community College, finished the season with a .231 batting average, 7 stolen bases, 2 home runs, and 8 RBIs, and was a scholar-athlete.
While are CCSJ, Barton plans to major in Kinesiology and chose CCSJ because "it is a small community but a very supportive one.
When I went on my visit I could tell staff and other students are very helpful adn are all there for each other, and, of course, the great softball program and coaching staff."
Barton is looking forward to "making great friends that I get to have for the next 3 years of my life.
I am also looking forward to getting a major in kinesiology. Importantly, I am looking forward to hopefully winning a title with the CCSJ softball family!"
