Buffalo Wild Wings donates to Michigan City Chamber Education Fund

During their opening festivities, the Michigan City Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) raised funds to support the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation Fund. Leading up to the grand opening of their new facility, located at 4027 Franklin Street, BWW invited chamber members to participate in their soft opening and training night. A percentage of sales from that evening was then donated back to the Chamber’s Education Fund. On March 13, 2023, during a small private ribbon-cutting ceremony, BWW Owner, Brandon Jones, presented a $1,000 check to Katie Eaton, Chamber President, to go toward the Chamber’s Education Fund.

The Chamber Education Fund is dedicated to the enhancement of the local educational environment through efforts to achieve a high-quality education in the Michigan City area. The fund was created in 2003 to enhance the quality of public education through programs not funded through tax dollars. “The dollars we receive from the fund go right into supporting educational programs and projects for Michigan City Area Schools,” stated Eaton. “We are grateful to Brandon and the B.W. Jones Group for supporting our fund and our local public schools.”

The Michigan City Chamber of Commerce serves to be a resource to its members, businesses, and the community to promote economic growth in the Michigan City area.
