On Friday, Feb. 28, five former Lake Central High School standouts, including Conor Pangburn, Doug Loden, Ethan Knopf, Nick Robinson and Owen Bendis’ current college team, the Purdue Northwest Pride, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.

The game took place at Panther Park. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Panther Park against Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.
