Men’s Bowling finishes 2nd at Western Shootout

The Calumet College Men's Bowling team traveled to Indianapolis for the Columbia 300 Western Shootout. After a Crimson Wave's 2nd Place finish at the Midwest Collegiate and a week break, the Wave were ranked #1 in the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) standings.

At the Western Shootout, the Crimson Wave Men's Varsity team  finished 2nd overall with an overall total of 9228, a close 6  behind the 1st place St. Xavier team. Joseph Ocello had the best individual finish for the Crimson Wave, with a total of 1216 and 2-2.7 average Ocello finished in 18th place. Stefano Cittadino finished in 20th place with an individual total of 1208 and 201.3 average. 

The Crimson Wave Men's JV team finished with a total of 7791 and a 4th place finish behind Midway, St. Francis, and McKendree. 

The Crimson Wave will take another break until November when the Wave attends the Leatherneck Classic in Moline, IL.
