City of Crown Point issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held at dusk Thursday, March 17, in the downtown square. This is the only lighted, nighttime parade in Northwest Indiana! Come enjoy the Irish festivities and listen to the Pipes and Drums bagpipe players while they lead the parade.
In addition to the parade, the City of Crown Point also offers food vendors on the square, as well as a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner at the Crown Point Fire Department, located at 126 N. East St. The drive-thru-only dinner will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, March 17.
