PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Program Year 2022 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the City's HUD funding, including the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESG) is available for review and comment. A copy of the report can be viewed online as well.

The PY2022 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) summarizes the City's efforts to address the goals and priorities set forth in its Consolidated Plan. The City is seeking comments on the CAPER from Hammond residents and community stakeholders. The City will consider all comments received before 4:00 PM on June 30th, 2023, before submitting the report to HUD. The City will continue to accept comments from the public after its submittal and use public comments to guide and inform future HUD-funded programming. The preferred method for submitting comments is by submitting the form below or via email to whited@gohammond.com

Public comments will be received formally at a Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at the Hammond Redevelopment Commission meeting, in the Council Chambers at Hammond City Hall located at 5925 Calumet Ave., Hammond, IN 46320, second-floor room 209 at 4:30 p.m. The City will attempt to accommodate translation for other languages and persons with disabilities if a request is made at least three days in advance. If the City cannot accommodate translation, the City will make alternative opportunities available for non-English speaking persons and persons with disabilities to participate.
