On April 15, 2025, Mrvan reminded high school students of the approaching deadline for the Congressional Art Competition. He stated, "Reminder for high school students: The deadline to submit artwork for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition is this Friday, April 18th, at 5:00 p.m. in our Merrillville office! In a subsequent post dated April 17, 2025, Mrvan expressed his intentions to enhance community safety measures in his district. He declared, "What I want to do as a Member of Congress is make sure we deliver more resources to the City of East Chicago and chiefs throughout the district so that we can have a safer community."
On the same day, Mrvan shared insights from his meeting with veterans at the Adam Benjamin Jr. VA Outpatient Clinic in Crown Point, reinforcing his commitment to veterans' welfare. Frank J. Mrvan has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2021, after replacing Pete Visclosky. He resides in Highland, Indiana, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, obtained in 1992. Before his congressional tenure, he served on the North Township Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2021.
