Rep. Frank J. Mrvan, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 1st district since 2021, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding various national and local events. His posts reflect both the recognition of significant days and reactions to current events.

On June 14, 2025, Rep. Mrvan marked Flag Day by encouraging the public to deepen their understanding of the national flag through resources provided by the Library of Congress. He stated, "As we recognize #FlagDay I encourage everyone to learn more about our national flag with the resources available below through the Library of Congress."

Later that day, he expressed his sorrow over a violent incident in Minnesota that targeted public servants, describing it as "absolutely appalling and heartbreaking." He conveyed his condolences by saying, "It is absolutely appalling and heartbreaking to learn of this tragic violence in Minnesota and attack against our democratic principles through the targeting of public servants. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims, and with the brave first responders."

On June 15, 2025, Rep. Mrvan extended warm wishes for Father's Day specifically to residents of Northwest Indiana with a brief message: "Happy Father’s Day Northwest Indiana!"
